Terms of Sale

These terms apply when you buy one of the paid packs on this site. They sit alongside our privacy policy and disclaimer. Buying a pack means you accept them.

Who you are buying from

The seller is ENA Enterprises Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17257845, registered office 61 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ, United Kingdom. ENA Enterprises Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office as a data controller (registration ZC164333). You can reach us at contact@awaabslawguide.co.uk.

What you are buying

Every pack is digital. There is no physical product and nothing is posted to you. Prices are in pounds sterling and are the total you pay — there is no VAT added at checkout and there are no delivery charges.

How the files reach you

The files are attached to a confirmation email sent to the address you give at checkout. There is no login and no download portal. Delivery is normally within a few minutes of payment. If nothing has arrived within 10 minutes, check your spam folder first, then email us and we will send the files again.

Some corporate mail systems strip or block attachments of this size. If yours does, tell us and we will arrange another way to get the files to you at no extra cost.

Your right to cancel, and why you are asked to waive it

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, a consumer buying digital content online normally has 14 days to cancel and get a refund.

That right does not survive immediate delivery. Regulation 37(1) removes it once supply of the digital content has begun, provided you gave express consent to it beginning straight away and acknowledged that you would lose the right to cancel. That is exactly what the tick box on the purchase card is for. You cannot buy without ticking it, and we record that you ticked it against your order.

So: once we have sent the files, the 14-day cancellation right is gone. If you would rather keep it, do not buy — email us instead and we will tell you what is in the pack in as much detail as you want first.

None of this affects your statutory rights where the digital content is faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality. Those rights come from the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and cannot be signed away.

Refunds

We will refund you in full if any of the following applies:

Email contact@awaabslawguide.co.uk from the address you used at checkout and tell us what went wrong. We aim to reply within one working day. Where a refund is due we issue it to the original payment method through Stripe, normally within five working days.

What we do not refund is a change of mind after the files have been delivered, because you have the content by then and we cannot take it back. That is the trade-off you accept when you tick the immediate-delivery box. If you are unsure whether a pack covers what you need, ask us before you buy.

Updates to a pack you have bought

Packs are versioned. If we revise a pack within the same major version, whether that is a corrected deadline calculation, a revised model letter, or a change forced by an amendment to the underlying regulations, you are entitled to the revised file at no charge. Email us from your purchase address and we will send it, subject to reasonable checks that you bought it.

Cosmetic edits, typographical fixes and formatting changes do not create a new version. A major-version upgrade, meaning a substantial restructuring, a new edition or an expansion in scope, is a separate product and is priced separately. Our methodology page sets out the review cadence behind these updates.

What you may and may not do with the files

Buying a pack buys you a licence to use it, not the copyright in it. You may use it inside the organisation or household that bought it: print it, fill it in, adapt the templates for your own cases, and circulate it to your own staff or advisers.

You may not resell it, republish it, post it on a public website or an open intranet, or distribute it outside your organisation as a product of your own. If you want to use a pack across several separate organisations, email us and we will sort out a licence that fits.

The packs are information, not legal advice

The packs explain what the regulations require and give you documents to work from. They are not legal advice and they are not a substitute for it. They cannot take account of the facts of your particular case. Where a case is contested, where a limitation period is close, where enforcement action or substantial damages are in play, or where someone's health is at risk, take advice from a solicitor or a qualified housing adviser. Our disclaimer covers this in full.

Liability

We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Subject to that, our total liability arising out of a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, contracts, goodwill or anticipated savings. We are not liable for the outcome of any case, complaint, claim or enforcement action in which a pack is used, or for any decision you take on the strength of one.

If you are buying as a business rather than as a consumer, the consumer cancellation and refund provisions above do not apply to you as of right, though we will normally apply the refund position in the same way.

If something goes wrong

Email contact@awaabslawguide.co.uk. Tell us the email address you used at checkout and what the problem is. We would rather fix it than argue about it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published on the day you bought. The date at the top of this page is the date of the current version.
